This ceremony was born of a vision in the wake of the Elk River chemical spill in West Virginia and in the midst of one of the worst droughts in California history. This ceremony was first born by Claire Chuck Bohman and is spreading across the land as more people are connecting with desire to honor and give thanks for the waters through prayer, action, and ceremony. This ceremony is meant to be shared and shifted to make sense in your tradition and your culture. Please take this vision and make it your own. Honoring the waters through ceremony, collective action, and community building will help heal the waters and move us closer to right relationship with the waters.
